Salesforce has always been at the forefront of technology and this year was no different. With over 170,000 visitors, Dreamforce 2015 was bigger and better than ever before.
A number of new products were introduced in the keynote address by Marc Benioff and Parker Harris. With the acquisition of RelateIQ, Salesforce has entered the IoT cloud service business in association with Microsoft. Keeping its promise from Dreamforce 2014, Salesforce also launched Health Cloud and Wealth Management Cloud. Along with this, Salesforce has introduced a consistent look to all their products with the new lightening experience. Salesforce products will now also come with built-in plugins to handle e-commerce requirements instead of having to pay for third party products.
The Nagarro team (Vinod Kumar, Viyom Jain and Rohit Kumar) participated in Dreamforce 2015 and gained in-depth knowledge of various Salesforce products. After a conversation with partners, customers and Salesforce employees, they were able to better visualize the direction in which the CRM industry is heading. The event included a galaxy of speakers sharing their insights on how they manage some of the world’s largest firms. And of course, it was a treat to be in the same room with the likes of Satya Nadella, Jessica Alba, Travis Kalanick and many more.
