World Vision International is a global non-profit organization operating across multiple regions and governance structures. As part of its ongoing evolution, the organization identified an opportunity to further strengthen how national offices transition between governance arrangements. .

These transitions are guided by its National Boards Policy.

The existing approach involved multiple stakeholders and detailed documentation, requiring careful coordination and iterative review processes.

Opportunities were identified to further streamline access to historical transition records, consolidate feedback from reviewers, and enhance visibility of progress across the process.

As governance needs continued to evolve, World Vision sought to enhance the efficiency, consistency, and transparency of its transition processes.

our solution

Nagarro developed Transit Flow, a Microsoft Power Apps-based governance transition management system for WVI. It digitizes and manages the full transition journey and brings submissions, validations, approvals, and committee evaluations into one centralized platform.

The solution was shaped through discovery workshops, process audits, and persona journey mapping. This ensured that the platform matched WVI’s governance model and operational needs.

Transit Flow supported the enhancement of WVI’s governance transition process by moving from a largely document-based workflow toward a more streamlined, transparent, and auditable digital approach. By introducing automated routing, reminders, and stage-based notifications, the platform contributed to improved time efficiency across the process. It helped reduce manual coordination, follow-ups, and transition tracking efforts. The solution further supported governance processes by improving agility and collaboration, while facilitating audit trials, enabling more centralized record-keeping, and enhancing role-based accountability.
