Supplying innovative value-adds for logistics

Innovating logistics through digital solutions
Our client, one of Austria's largest providers of full truck loads on the road and in combined transport, aimed to expand its digital ecosystem with new digital products, services, and business models. They sought to increase their competitive advantage and excite their customers and the market with unique value propositions.
In line with customer journeys, digital ecosystems, and existing business models, Nagarro identified two potential digital products, several new services, and two new digital business models. These product visions were supported by initial product backlogs, serving as a solid foundation for the next step: the Proof of Concept (PoC). Agile methodologies facilitated cross-functional collaboration, connecting business, finance, IT, and division representatives to encourage mutual understanding. Detailed analysis enhanced comprehension of the client's digital ecosystem at the group level, resulting in well-defined product backlogs and innovative digital business models.
This creative approach promoted close collaboration and a positive, sustainable flow of ideas among teams. A detailed customer journey analysis led to a deep understanding of potential customers, along with their pain points and needs. Agile methodologies facilitated cross-functional cooperation and fostered mutual understanding among different stakeholders. The output included two new digital product ideas, an extended potential innovative product portfolio, and the detailed development of two digital business models. These outcomes solidified the client's position as a digital innovation leader in the logistics sector.
