Simplifying customer data management

Leveraging Oracle CDM Cloud platform to consolidate customer information and ensure data integrity

The client’s customer data was scattered across multiple applications, making it difficult to maintain the data in an easily accessible way. Additionally, the client faced challenges in proper data governance and in maintaining data quality. Hence, a solution was needed to create a single source of truth for all the customer data and simplify data access.


We designed and developed the Oracle CDM solution post due diligence and assessment of the client requirements and overall ecosystem comprising other dependent systems. To enable uninterrupted and error-free exchange of customer data, we integrated the CDM with Salesforce and other supply chain applications using MuleSoft. We also migrated 500,000 accounts, 650,000 business sites, and 75,000 contact points data from UAT environment to production.

The CDM platform became a centralized and reliable source for maintaining and viewing consolidated customer information, and eliminated data in silos. The solution also led to an effective governance process ensuring data integrity and data standardization with improved quality.
