Enabling resilient workforce with digitalized inspection process

We developed an assisted reality solution that works on mobile and Smart Glass supported by a responsive web and cloud-based application. The application enables managers to create a multi-tiered customizable survey and render it on multiple form factor devices available to the risk engineers on-site. Within the survey, the inspection process can be divided into multiple sections, and each section can have various subsections and so forth. This allows a standardized inspection process as a superset for a particular category of customers or risk assessment. The solution leverages Nagarro’s accelerators such as Audio Assist Framework, Media Assist Framework, and Video Assist Framework. These frameworks enable risk engineers to record findings in multimedia formats (image, text, video, and audio), build complex assessment reports, and collaborate easily with remote experts via video call while working in a hands-free mode.

The solution has shown to deliver greater than 20% productivity improvement owing to a combination of factors. These factors include faster project allocation by enabling risk engineers to perform cross-functional assessments, efficient report preparation with end-to-end digitalization, customizable survey templates, and dynamic workflows. Our solution also allows risk engineers to seamlessly collaborate and seek assistance from SMEs via video call in a 'you-see-what-I-see' scenario, thus improving the inspection quality and optimum utilization of SMEs’ time.
