Illuminating success through Agile transformation

Continuous improvement and innovation ensure 30% productivity increase and faster time-to-market
The lack of alignment between the client’s overarching vision, strategic direction, and day-to-day execution posed significant hurdles. Additionally, the existing ways of working were found wanting, falling short of meeting the business's imperative for accelerated speed, uncompromised quality, and the agility to adapt to changing market dynamics. The pressing need to expedite time-to-market clashed with the development teams' morale and engagement, leading to a dip in productivity. The persistent pressure and shifting priorities left scant room for innovation and continuous improvement.
Employing Nagarro’s transformation approach and the SAFe framework, a comprehensive solution emerged. This involved defining the scope, conducting assessments, and setting up leadership transformation teams. Anchored by a dedicated leadership transformation team, the SAFe framework was adopted, roles precisely defined and distributed (RTEs, SMs, POs, etc.), and the architecture of Agile Release Trains (ARTs) meticulously outlined. Continuous improvement, PI planning, and portfolio level implementation further elevated this customized transformation.
The results spoke volumes, with a 30% productivity increase in story points. Time-to-market also underwent a paradigm shift, as frequent production releases took precedence, significantly reducing the average time required to bring products to market. The fortitude of the agile transformation was starkly evident during challenging times, such as the pandemic, where streamlined dependency management and coordination proved invaluable. The cohesive vision shared by teams translated into a consistent delivery of value at every Program Increment. Engagement between business and development teams was markedly elevated, facilitated by events such as PI planning, combined demos, and live reviews, not to mention the collaborative camaraderie established through pair programming.
