Previously, the Commission relied on a paper-based system for license applications involving manual scanning and data entry by employees. The agency operated on eight disparate systems developed on outdated technologies and needed a complete overhaul.

NYSGC partnered with Nagarro to modernize its License Management System (LMS), ensuring scalability and adaptability to changing government regulations. Nagarro designed and developed a centralized license document management system that streamlined the processing and approval of gaming license applications across its divisions. The system also includes an intuitive, user-friendly self-service web portal accessible to both Commission employees and applicants, allowing users to create profiles, submit applications, and track license renewals.

The new, flexible license management system was ready to handle the recent influx of gaming activities. By consolidating eight disconnected systems into a single, searchable repository, the Commission achieved transparent status tracking, seamless information sharing across departments, and greatly enhanced customer satisfaction.
