A leading automotive manufacturer that imported vehicles and parts from over 25 factory systems (associated with factory locations) in Germany relied on more than 15 regional systems in Australia, including a Dealer Management System, Logistics System, Fleetwave, and Salesforce CRM, to manage operations.

However, the legacy AS/400-based Import Management System depended on manual file exchanges, leading to inefficiencies and delays in data sharing across the eco-system. Nagarro implemented a centralized integration platform using MuleSoft. The solution

  1. For factory systems that continued to send data in flat-file formats, MuleSoft validated and transformed the data into IDoc format before integrating it into SAP S/4HANA and the Dealer Management System.
  2. For systems requiring real-time updates, such as Finance, Salesforce CRM, Customs Duty, Logistics, and Warranty, MuleSoft enabled seamless, event-driven integration.
