Modernizing with SAP S/4HANA for EWIKON

The company's existing SAP system (SAP ERP ECC 6.0) needed to be updated, and the support was due to expire soon. This would have implications on efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. The company's in-house developments were limited, and several processes were incompatible with SAP S/4HANA. There was also a need for a better user interface and the ability to work on the move.

With Nagarro's support, EWIKON planned to replace the existing system with SAP S/4HANA to stay up-to-date with new technologies, better performance, and easy scalability. The company opted for a complete system conversion, using the brownfield approach. Nagarro conducted a preliminary study to analyze future requirements and assisted with implementation, hosting, and support.

The SAP S/4HANA conversion reduced internal effort and enabled employees to focus on strategic issues. The major benefit: significantly reduced process time achieved by automating the real-time analysis and the availability of new functionalities such as MRP Live. After 15 months of work, the future-proof system was ready for use in the first quarter of 2022 (two months before the deadline).
