Our client, Schutzstation Wattenmeer e.V., is a non-profit organization based in the Wadden Sea National Park – a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Northern Germany. Their primary focus is to preserve and foster the national park’s biodiversity and provide education towards environmental protection.
The successful impact of the organization on the environment is mainly due to the great motivation of the 30 permanent employees and around 100 new volunteers per year. The staff currently operates 18 stations in this fragile region, monitoring flora, fauna, and human impact through various paper-based processes.
We supported Schutzstation Wattenmeer on their digital transformation journey with our low-code Google Appsheet engagement, enabling immediate environmental data evaluations, closer interaction between volunteers and management, and a scalable platform for future enhancements.
