Preparing Janitza for the digital future with SAP S/4HANA Cloud​

For a long time, Janitza used Infor COM 7.2 as an on-premise solution for about 180 users, but the runtime was about to end. As part of the digitization strategy, the new ERP had to be, above all, future-proof and as close to the standards as possible. In particular, separate management of logistics and financial accounting had to be planned, that would eventually lead to avoidable costs and errors.

In collaboration with IT service provider Nagarro, Janitza decided to implement SAP S/4HANA RISE in the private cloud edition. As part of this initiative, SAP S/4HANA was initially introduced with modules such as finance/controlling, procurement, materials management and warehouse, production, as well as sales and service. Additionally, the Salesforce Sales Cloud was integrated via SAP BTP.

Thanks to the joint project of Nagarro and Janitza, the traditional Hessian company was able to unify and modernize its IT landscape within twelve months. Processes can now be standardized across locations. New functionalities, such as access to the SAP Business Network, have enabled improved coordination with suppliers in the future.​
