Improved content management with intelligent tagging

The world is experiencing an unprecedented change in the way media is consumed across the globe. Over-The-Top (OTT) media revenue is expected to reach over USD 210 billion by 2026, more than double of USD 106 billion generated in 2020^[i]. With the rapidly increasing demand for content and variety, content generation is no longer limited to a few agencies or production houses. The opportunities are limitless with new video content being generated every day. From reality TV shows, game shows, and movies to 24-hour news and live sports, it is all streaming. Staying one step ahead in the game, our client, a European mass media company, wanted to build "intelligent content" in a scalable and cost-efficient way, by extracting metadata from a large amount of heterogeneous video material. Nagarro successfully built a tagging platform, driven by artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), for quick and cost-effective personalized content distribution and improved productivity.
