Harnessing data to build a data-centric organization

Our client’s decision-making was predominantly dependent on tacit knowledge from different business functions. The client was majorly relying on existing ERP and excel for managing data, reporting and visualizations and was not able to fully leverage the on-premise Qlik applications. The excel based reporting process required their team to manually gather data from multiple heterogeneous systems, clean the data and create reports. This process had limited reporting functionalities and resulted in the loss of productive hours, higher inaccuracies, and delays in reporting. This resulted in delays in decision-making, reduced organizational efficiency, and low process agility. Further, the on-premise application resulted in increased maintenance costs and reduced availability during server outages.

We support the client in their data journey by building an enterprise-level data intelligence platform with multiple solutions based on descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. We developed dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense, deployed on the Qlik Cloud. We integrated ML models with Qlik to create predictive reports and dashboards. The solution is integrated with heterogeneous systems to automate data collection. It also supports automated emails with updated data and reports. It enables the self-service operation to create customized real-time reports and dashboards on demand for tracking financial, production, supply chain, order, inventory, and many other functional KPIs. Additionally, we consult the client to identify use cases, assess their return on investment, and create a roadmap of data-driven initiatives. As per the roadmap, we are working on multiple use cases such as an AI-enabled minimum viable product to help the client forecast demand and sales.

Our solution enhances the productivity of client stakeholders by automating data collection from enterprise systems & data warehouses and enabling easy report creation. The deployment of reports on the Qlik cloud provides 24X7 secure access to valuable insights. It also eliminates the maintenance costs associated with the on-premise setup. The transition from excel-based to Qlik dashboards improved KPI tracking and visualization for stakeholders. The enhanced KPI visibility enabled faster and more effective decisions for organizational efficiency and agility. The adoption of AI-based predictive analytical models will improve sales forecasts, thereby promoting better demand planning and strategy creation. Through our collaboration with the client on identifying, validating, and implementing AI-ML use cases across business functions, we envisage delivering more business value by helping them in their data analytics journey and making their organization resilient to change.
