As a global leader in industrial technologies and services, the client operates a large-scale and highly connected enterprise ecosystem across manufacturing, engineering, sales, and finance.

To support its continued growth and digital ambitions, the organization wanted to strengthen how data moved across its business-critical applications. With more than 100 applications, including Salesforce CRM, NetSuite ERP, Azure services, and PLM systems, the client saw an opportunity to simplify integrations, improve visibility, automate processes, and create a more scalable foundation for the future.

Nagarro led a MuleSoft-led modernization program to standardize platforms and centralize monitoring. The program focused on standardizing connectivity, enabling API-led data exchange, and improving operational resilience across the enterprise.

Over 100+ applications across multiple platforms created fragmented data flows, silos, and limited visibility. Limited monitoring and manual deployments slowed issue resolution and increased release risk. Legacy MDS (master data system) had limited PLM support, traceability, and collaboration.

the solution

Nagarro modernized the integration ecosystem with MuleSoft. The MuleSoft platform was upgraded, and IBM App Connect workloads were migrated to leverage existing MuleSoft licensing. We implemented VIPER for centralized monitoring, real-time alerts, and CI/CD-led automation. Also, we integrated PLM with key systems including NetSuite, Salesforce, and other enterprise applications.
