Helping the City of Goodyear work proactively for citizens and foster public transparency with a digitized solution

In its commitment to modernize government services and enhance public transparency, the City of Goodyear aimed to create a public dashboard. This dashboard's purpose was to actively engage with data, facilitate data-driven government decisions, and nurture a culture of openness and responsiveness in government operations.

the solution

The City partnered with Nagarro to develop an application that streamlines and consolidates data from its 17 departments. The application enables the government to measure progress against key developmental performance indicators (KPIs). Within 5 weeks, Nagarro facilitated the transition from a manual data entry process to a faster, one-click data analytics platform. This streamlined approach allows for immediate data publication, offering the public full transparency regarding the performance of all city departments.

By eliminating individual dependencies and reducing data inconsistencies, the application enables faster reporting and facilitates targeted improvements based on year-over-year KPI tracking. With over 100,000 residents now having access to quantifiable measures of progress, the City can swiftly identify and address areas in need of reform.
