Digitizing wind turbine inspections using Smart Glass

A Smart Glass and mobile app-based inspection solution to digitize the inspection process with improved worker safety, accuracy, and collaboration.

A tedious and time-consuming paper-based wind turbine inspection and manual digitization, leading to ineffective co-ordination between clerks and inspectors, and an error-prone inspection process.


Nagarro co-created a Smart Glass and a mobile app-based inspection solution with features like fully automated workflows for work-order creation and assignment, step-by-step instructions, one-touch sync with web app, and more.


Defect recognition with a smart solution that optimized the inspection time for each wind turbine to up to 30% and enhanced worker safety.

Since operating a high number of wind turbines is a huge undertaking and very time-consuming, we were looking for a solution to not only streamline the turbine inspection but improve our worker safety as well. We are very happy that the implemented solution is a vast improvement as well as finds high acceptance within our workforce.
