Creating the UAE's first digital lifestyle banking app

A banking app built for millennials in the Middle East.
Going beyond basic transaction offerings and becoming more of a lifestyle partner means thinking differently and offering something new. What can a bank offer its customers to bring them closer, be more relevant, unique, and valuable daily? The bank wanted to radically transform its financial services, starting with building a new digital and user-friendly mobile platform that enables a new value exchange, a new mode of interaction, and a new way of doing business.
As the mobile strategy partner, Nagarro provided extensive research and development expertise on the features (24/7 access, self-operative account opening, management, etc.), consulted on their roadmap for releases, and developed a scalable and intuitive mobile application.
Two years into the launch of the digital lifestyle banking app, they have become one of the fastest-growing banks in the UAE with ten thousand new customers opening accounts every month, mainly from remote areas of the country. The app provides 100% customer query resolution via chat, email, or social media, reflecting the customer’s needs while reducing operational cost significantly. Well received by the customers, the app holds a 4.5 rating on both iOS App Store and Google Playstore.
