It provides a detailed insight into the methods and techniques required for a strategic test automation set up. Starting with the basic groundwork activities and the definition of a sustainable architecture, test automation is developed in a step-wise manner. Operational and maintenance aspects have also been covered to ensure a comprehensive understanding of test automation. Supplementary aspects like automated reporting and the selection of relevant metrics complete the topic.
