TURNTABLE Vol. 2 - VIRTUAL EVENT SERIES

THE RISE OF THE NEW ENTERPRISE

TRACK IV: CLOUD & DATA ARCHITECTURE FOR SUCCESS

About the Track

In the context of corporate IT, cloud is everywhere. And so is data. Modern and innovative data use-cases require a secure and dynamically scalable infrastructure to reach their full potential. Hence, the use of cloud services is virtually a must. But what obstacles and errors can occur when introducing them? What are the most common mistakes on the cloud journey of companies, and how can they be prevented?

Daniel Brezina, Cloud Architect, takes a look at a recently conducted survey among IT managers to understand the distribution of cloud services in Austrian businesses. He also discusses common mistakes companies that make during their cloud journey, and how they can be avoided by introducing a governance and security framework.

Vikas Gandhi, Global Practice Head Big Data, showcases two exciting demos including aspects of IoT, AI & Big Data and Machine Learning. The basic idea is how to help any enterprise make interesting data curation journeys and derive useful insights based on analytics and machine learning. He also shows organizations can integrate their existing systems with Data Hubs.
