New Delhi: Nagarro announced that it has signed up for the Science Based Targets initiative. The SBTi is an important collaboration between the CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, the World Resources Institute (WRI), and the Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF). Nagarro has committed to setting a near-term decarbonization target and achieving net zero no later than 2050.

“This is an important step in the right direction for us. Over the last year, we have put significant effort into measuring our carbon footprint over scopes 1, 2, and 3. With a good view of our carbon landscape, we are better prepared to work on the target-setting process. The scientific rigor that SBTi brings to corporate decarbonization is needed for effective decision-making towards climate action,” said Ashish Agarwal, custodian of sustainability at Nagarro.
