Privacy Policy

Effective as of July 2023

There are many different ways through which you can use our services – When you share information with us, for example by sending mails to us, searching for information on our website. We, at Nagarro, believe that the establishment of trust and privacy is instrumental to the continued growth of the Internet. We also believe that the efficient collection, use, and transfer of information serve to enhance the development of the Internet and electronic commerce, provided that, such information is handled in a fair and responsible manner.

Introduction

Nagarro is a custom software development and business consulting company that provides consulting and technology services to its clients. It is headquartered in Munich, Germany, and has its primary development center in Gurugram, in the National Capital Region of India.
We understand that you are aware of and care about your own personal privacy interests, and we take that seriously. This Privacy Notice describes Nagarro’s policies and practices regarding its collection and use of your personal data, and sets forth your privacy rights. We recognize that information privacy is an ongoing responsibility, and so we will, from time to time, update this Privacy Notice as we undertake new personal data practices or adopt new privacy policies.

How we collect and use (process) Personal Data

Personal Data means the information which relates to an individual and which identifies that individual, either directly or indirectly (together with other information that is reasonably likely to come into Nagarro’s possession), such as your name, email address or telephone number. Nagarro only obtains, uses and forwards Personal Data if this is permitted by law, and if the user has consented to it.

Use of Nagarro website

As is true of most other websites, Nagarro’s website collects certain information automatically and may store some of the information as log files. The information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, the region or general location where your computer or device is accessing the internet, browser type, operating system and other information about the use of Nagarro’s website, including a history of the pages you view. We use this information to help us design our website to better suit our users’ needs. We may also use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website, analyse trends, track visitor movements, and gather broad demographic information that assists us in identifying visitor preferences. Nagarro’s website also uses certain cookies and web beacons. It does not track users when they cross to third party websites, does not provide targeted advertising, and therefore, does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals.

Use of HubSpot

We use HubSpot for our digital marketing activities. HubSpot, an American provider of software for marketing automation, is headquartered in the USA and has its European office in Ireland (HubSpot, Inc., 25 First Street, 2nd Floor, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA, Attn: Privacy. | HubSpot, Ground Floor, Two Dockland Central Guild Street, Dublin 1, Ireland). We use HubSpot to analyze and provide marketing content, in particular for e mail marketing, landing pages and contact management. Visitors to our website can use contact forms to learn more about us, download content and supply us with contact details (plus additional demographic information, where appropriate). This information is stored on HubSpot servers, where we use it to optimize our activities regarding and contact with potential customers. All the information we gather in this way is governed by this privacy provision.

Nagarro cookie guidelines

Our website uses cookies and by visiting our website, you agree that cookies can be stored on your device as further explained below.
Cookies are small pieces of data that a website sends to your computer’s web browser while you are navigating through it. Cookies serve many purposes, but mainly, they enable you to navigate between pages easily, remember your preferences, and eventually improve user experience. These cookies stored on your machine can also help identify your computer. Cookies used on this website can be either set up by our website or by a third-party website. Moreover, these cookies can be “session” or “persistent” cookies: a session cookie is a cookie that is automatically deleted when the user closes the browser, whereas a persistent cookie is a cookie that remains stored in the user’s terminal device until it reaches a defined expiration date.
We also use cookies to improve the quality of our service, including logging in, storing your preferences, maintaining report selection, and tracking your web page visits and actions. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether to accept it or not. If you have enabled “Do Not Track” functionality in your web browser, then your personally identifiable cookies will expire within 5 days.

Hotjar _hjShownFeedbackMessage It is set when a user minimizes or completes Incoming Feedback. 365 days Hotjar cookies
Hotjar _hjSessionTooLarge Causes Hotjar to stop collecting data if a session becomes too large. This is determined automatically by a signal from the WebSocket server if the session size exceeds the limit. Session Hotjar cookies
Hotjar _hjSessionRejected If present, this cookie will be set to '1' for the duration of a user's session, if Hotjar rejected the session from connecting to our WebSocket due to server overload. This cookie is only applied in extremely rare situations to prevent severe performance issues. Session Hotjar cookies
Hotjar _hjSessionResumed It is set when a session/recording is reconnected to Hotjar servers after a break in connection. Session Hotjar cookies

Hotjar _hjTLDTest When the Hotjar script executes we try to determine the most generic cookie path we should use, instead of the page hostname. After this check, the cookie is removed. Session Hotjar cookies
Hotjar _hjUserAttributesHash User Attributes sent through the Hotjar Identify API are cached for the duration of the session in order to know when an attribute has changed and needs to be updated. Session Hotjar cookies
Hotjar _hjCachedUserAttributes This cookie stores User Attributes which are sent through the Hotjar Identify API, whenever the user is not in the sample. Collected attributes will only be saved to Hotjar servers if the user interacts with a Hotjar Feedback tool, but the cookie will be used regardless of whether a Feedback tool is present. Session Hotjar cookies
Hotjar _hjLocalStorageTest This cookie is used to check if the Hotjar Tracking Script can use local storage. If it can, a value of 1 is set in this cookie. The data stored in_hjLocalStorageTest has no expiration time, but it is deleted almost immediately after it is created. Under 100ms Hotjar cookies
Hotjar _hjIncludedInPageviewSample This cookie is set to let Hotjar know whether that user is included in the data sampling defined by your site's pageview limit. 30 minutes Hotjar cookies

Hotjar _hjViewportId This stores information about the user viewport such as size and dimensions. Session Hotjar cookies
Hotjar _hjRecordingEnabled This is added when a Recording starts and is read when the recording module is initialized to see if the user is already in a recording in a particular session. Session Hotjar cookies
