For the third time in recent years, Nagarro has been named to the Global Services 100 list, a prestigious industry survey which identifies the world’s leading outsourcing providers. Continued »
It’s one thing to profess technical excellence; it’s quite another to prove it.
In 2008, Nagarro embarked on a process improvement journey with an objective of inculcating an organization-wide culture of managing activities based on robust, standardized, and well defined processes. The Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), an internationally recognized standard for assessing software development practices, was identified as the implementation model for this initiative.
Nagarro achieved its first milestone – a rating of Maturity Level 3 – in November 2009. And this month, following a rigorous nine-day appraisal led by a High Maturity Lead Appraiser (HMLA) from KPMG, Nagarro officially received a rating of CMMI Maturity Level 4.
CMMI Maturity Level 4 gives our customers an added sense of security in Nagarro’s ability to successfully execute extremely large and complex projects in a predictable manner. It also helps Nagarro attract and retain the world-class talent we are known for.
However, we won’t rest on our laurels for long. We are already working toward appraisal at CMMI Maturity Level 5 and look forward to sharing more great news on this subject in the months to come.
This month’s issue of CNBC Business Magazine features Nagarro and customer AmSurg in two articles showcasing best practices in managing a distributed workplace.
In an in-depth article titled “The Human Cloud,” reporter Colin Brown explores how workers of all ages are embracing fluid work environments, social tools, crowd-sourcing and other shifts in traditional business boundaries. As a company whose success is based on a flourishing virtual workforce, Nagarro can attest to the importance of cultivating the “human cloud.”
Sources for this article state that in the U.S., an estimated 40% of all jobs today could be done at home — yet only 7% of companies currently entrust their data and software needs to third-party cloud platforms. Obviously a lot more companies will have to get comfortable with adapting to new workplace models, but all signs indicate that this is the direction of the future. The workplace revolution is underway, and employers will need to embrace these shifts in order to attract and retain the best talent.
Nagarro customer AmSurg, also featured in this issue of CNBC Business, is a great example of a company building a thriving business based on a distributed workforce. In partnership with Nagarro, AmSurg is using collaborative technologies as well as traditional communication channels to keep its network of healthcare providers up to date on industry best practices and drive operational performance.
AmSurg shares Nagarro’s belief that the key to working successfully across geographies and time zones is flexibility. Whether it’s a mobile phone, TelePresence , accessing data via the cloud or hopping on a plane for a good old-fashioned face-to-face meeting, opportunities for collaboration are sprouting up all around us. And as more and more businesses see the value of the human cloud, all of us – not just outsourcing firms – will benefit.
As recent news about JetBlue demonstrates, it’s always nice to feel appreciated. Ironically, I just returned home from a vacation during which my family and I were subjected to some of the worst airline customer service I can recall in my lifetime (the airline shall remain unnamed).
At Nagarro we pride ourselves on taking a personal interest not just in the success of each project, but also in the success of each customer. So when one of our custom software products directly benefits a customer’s bottom line, that’s about as good as it gets for us. As you can see from Nagarro’s press release today- Nagarro Empowers HKMP Technologies to Secure Strategic Sales Win, today is a good day here at Nagarro. Continued »
A few months ago we mentioned the Moody’s Mega Math Challenge, organized by Nagarro customer SIAM (the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics). This week we are pleased to report that, for the first time ever, the judging process for the contest has gone paperless thanks to custom software built by Nagarro. The new software allowed seven teams of judges to view hundreds of detailed submissions online – securely, remotely and at their own convenience – thus eliminating printing, mailing and redistribution of printed hard copies.
Nagarro is proud to partner with SIAM to develop paperless systems as an eco-friendly alternative to manual processes. To learn more about how Nagarro’s custom software development services can help your company’s business goals, please contact us at info@nagarro.com.

I’m at SAPPHIRE NOW 2010 this week, with our customer Patrimonio Hipotecaria – who is here all the way from Monterrey, Mexico – to talk about our recent successes using SAP BPM for banking and loan processing. Patrimonio’s implementation of IS Banking, along with Nagarro’s automation of their proprietary business processes using SAP BPM has made them an impressive success story for SAP. The video was shot at the Monterrey offices of Patrimonio, and features Alejandro Marroquin the CIO of Patrimonio and Manish Agarwal, the SAP Project Lead from Nagarro.
If you are going to be at SAPPHIRE, please drop by Patrimonio’s session for a viewing of the video, an interactive discussion and more information on SAP BPO best practices:

We recently caught up with Chris Roe, CTO of Qtrax, in New York to find out more about his experience as a Nagarro customer. Qtrax and Nagarro have been working around the clock for months preparing for the launch of Qtrax 1.0, the industry’s first free and legal peer-to-peer music download service. Qtrax had a tall order – linking a massive music file system with ad-serving features while enabling millions of site visitors to rapidly download an unlimited number of high-quality music files.
Oh, and did we mention that they needed it done in just four months? Click on the video to hear how Nagarro rose to the challenge.
Today Nagarro announced a new SAP NetWeaver project with QISoft, a customer in the manufacturing execution systems (MES) space. As a provider of Windows-based software, QISoft had been facing a major competitive obstacle in attracting customers running SAP on the backend. Nagarro is developing a new SAP-based product suite to allow QISoft to compete more effectively. Continued »
